Here are some more of those guys who do their bad stuff so well. Feel free to email me with suggestions for additions to the gallery, however the standards are much higher for this section of this site. The live-action villain must be cartoony, otherwise what would be the point?

Max Zorin, A View To A Kill the movie

Bond Villains are their own breed, kind of like Batman Villains. I don't think Max is the best, but the fact that he's played by Christopher Walken is reason enough to include him here. Let's face it, if you aren't creeped out by Walkin even in his happiest roles, you just aren't human. I would have included him in this gallery even if he wasn't in costume. Thanks, Rach, for the suggestion

De Nomolus, Bill And Ted's Bogus Journey
Tell me you're familiar with the sit-up champion of the 23rd century! Remember? Rufus's old teacher? Remember? He's the guy that created the evil robots and sent them into the past to "totally kill Bill and Ted." Remember? He was the one with the overcoat and the thick Russian accent. Remember????????

I understand if you don't recognize him here, this pic is actually from The Hunt For Red October. If the sight of Denamelous without a blacklight shining up his face from inside his enormous collar throws you, that's okay. The important thing is that you acknowledge his superiority, then move on. Acknowledge, and move on. Acknowledge........... move on.

Jack Torrence, The Shining
Yeah this film is old but I tell you if I'm home on a cold saturday and this film comes on I'll cancel any plans just to watch it again. If you don't get creeped out just a smidge I would hate to see what you really think is unnerving. Ehhh... maybe I just really like Kubrik films. Yeah, I do.

Okay, and one more thing. If you like this film like I do, especially for the camp value, check this site out. This guy put a ton of effort into the maze, you've just got to see it!

"Danny doesn't live here anymore Mrs. Torrence..."

Ernest Blofeld, James Bond films, Connery Era
Ah, the Telly Sevallis version, at that. This is the villain of villains. He and the Joker are duking it out for the title of Best-All-Time-Villain, and Lex Luthor and Darth Vader are battling for position as Vice-Best-All-Time-Villain. Both Dr. Evil and Dr. Claw were based on this guy (thus my assumption that he was Dr. No. Thanks to Zoowilly for straightening me out on that).

Anyway, since this guy is incomplete without his cat I've included a picture of the Persian, too. After all, who do you think Mr. Bigglesworth (Austin Powers) or Fatcat (Chip And Dale's Rescue Rangers) were based on? You got it, mister fuzzy kittypants right there.

Q, Star Trek The Next Generation
Q? That's pretty gutsy to name yourself a letter. That's gutsier than Sting who, as Garth noted on Wayne's World, named himself a verb. He's got style up the yin-yang, with those robes and hats, and he also has a great "mess with people just for fun" outlook on life. Gotta admire that.

Hanibal Lecter, Silence Of The Lambs Trilogy
Could you possibly have a Cartoony Super Villain Live Action Gallery without including Anthony Hopkins in this roll? Please. Hey hey, remember this?

"It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."

Wondering why I didn't use the picture of him with the restraint mask? Because, tough guy, it scares the bejeepers out of me. Yeah, I'm woman enough to admit it, too. So there!

Dr. Smith, Lost In Space (original series)
Heeeeere's a little nugget of joy for ya: this guy not only belongs on this site because of the Live Action Gallery, but also because of his connection to the cartoon world through the show Freakazoid. In several episodes Freakazoid has a man-servant who followes him around saying "oooh the pain, the pain." and being a total woosey. THAT character, ladies and gentlemen, was based on none other than Dr. Smith from Lost In Space, AAAAND was voiced by that very actor!! In fact, the first episode in which that character shows up is fraught with Lost In Space references, as are many of the later episodes he appears in. Betchya didn't count on me having that much info, did ya?

Vincent Price, no specific role
The undeniable master of spook. If I need to explain you need to get out more. Click his pic to go to a site devoted to his every role. Take note of how many roles were in movies with the word "haunted" in the title.

Tim Curry.... For oh so many appearances!
Frankenfurter from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", Darkness from "Legend, the big bad scary clown from "IT"... I had to include pics of his 3 best roles, although I also wanted to include him as Rooster in "Annie", as well as the slimy medic in "The Hunt For Red October" (although that's no villainous part, just well played). I'd like to thank Alex for being the first to make a suggestion for the Live Action Gallery. He was absolutely right, I couldn't live one more day without Tim Curry in my clutches!
